A saggy stomach is something many of us experience. But women are more prone to it. After all, they give birth to babies, and after childbirth, it’s only natural to have sagging skin. And you know women—they want their body to be perfect. At least most of them do.    
Now, I know some women would jump at the opportunity to have surgery or an expensive spa treatment. All because of a belief that it will help them get rid of their saggy stomach. But getting rid of a saggy stomach doesn’t have to be expensive. And it doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, it can be easy, simple, and cheap. Here’s how.     

What is a saggy stomach?

First off, we all really know what a saggy stomach is. Your skin becomes saggy because of childbirth, or if you lost a lot of weight too quickly. The latter is the reason I always tell my friends to be careful when they are losing weight.  
And let’s be honest: a saggy stomach can be annoying and irritating. Especially when you get out of the shower, and you look yourself in the mirror. I know I wouldn’t want to see that. Therefore, I’m giving you one solution to get rid of those marks and saggy skin.   
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of clay
  • ¼ cup of black tea/green tea
  • 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (avocado oil, for example)
  • 1 teaspoon of coffee
  • 1 teaspoon of witch hazel extract
I’m fairly sure you have most of the ingredients for this remedy at home. Witch hazel is the main reason this skin mask works. But you also benefit from the caffeine from the tea and coffee. Here is a step-by-step guide how to prepare this mask.   
  1. Pour the clay and tea into a bowl. Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil and one teaspoon of coffee. 
  2. Mix it all together until the clay is hydrated and you get a smooth paste. You can always add more tea or coffee if the mixture is too thick. Depending on the clay, you’ll notice a different smell and color to the mixture.  
  3. The end result should be a mixture with a peanut butter consistency. Apply a thin layer on the stomach for 15-20 minutes. Rinse and pat it dry. Repeat two times per day for best results.   

What can you use witch hazel for?

Witch hazel is one of the healthiest ingredients you can use. It’s been a staple in natural remedies for years now. And a saggy stomach is not the only condition you can use it for; witch hazel is great for many other skin conditions, as it helps you get silky smooth skin.  

Here are some conditions that you can use it for:

  • Cracked or blistered skin
  • Acne
  • Skin sores

  • Bruises

  • Redness and swelling

Of course, for every condition, there is a different mask. For example, for oily skin, you want something that will get rid of oils, and you can combine witch hazel with clay and honey. 

Another way to get rid of a saggy stomach

A witch hazel mask is just one way to get rid of a saggy stomach. But if you want to get results quicker, you need to implement some other changes in your daily routine. 
For starters, you need a  daily exercise routine. You don’t need hardcore exercise—just 30 minutes of aerobics exercise like walking or cycling will do the trick. That’s more than enough to burn some calories. 
You also want to do some abs exercises, like crunches. There are many variations of crunches, and crunches and other ab exercises help you build muscle in the belly. And, as a result, you improve the appearance of your saggy stomach.
Last, but certainly not least, you need a healthy diet. Focus on healthy fats and proteins, and avoid carbs. Some easy to source proteins are nuts, fish, eggs and cottage cheese. You need a healthy diet to maintain your skin’s elasticity.
