Kim Kardashian said rehashing her sister’s rough patch with Tristan Thompson on television has been an adjustment for the NBA star.
The latest episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” haven’t been easy for Tristan Thompson to watch.
Reflecting on the Cavaliers power forward’s cheating scandal, which unfolded in the days leading up to the birth of his daughter with Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian said rehashing the couple’s rough patch on television has been an adjustment for Thompson, 27.“It is awkward, especially for maybe Tristan, who isn’t used to his,” said the mom of three on “Ellen,” airing Wednesday. “Unfortunately, that was what’s going on in our lives. So six months later when it replays and they’ve gotten through what they needed to get through and it’s rehashed in front of everyone and everyone’s giving their opinions all over again and we’re live tweeting and everyone’s chiming in. So that is hard for Khloé and I’m sure for Tristan, but it’s our reality.”
Khloé, 34, gave birth to baby True in April, shortly after Thompson’s alleged infidelities had been exposed. The NBA star joined the Kardashian clan in the birthing suite, which was featured on Sunday’s episode of “Keeping Up.”

“It’s important to me to stick to my birthing plan, because this is something that I’ve waited for my entire life,” Khloé said on a recent episode of “KUWTK.”
“I don’t want to take away anything from this moment. I’ve always been a big believer of don’t make permanent decisions off of temporary emotions.”
Kim, 38, also praised her younger sister for sharing her distressing situation with the world.
“We’ll pick up the slack for Khloé you know, if we live tweet and maybe she’s not in the mood, we’ll tweet a little bit more than her and kind of have those conversations so she won’t have to,” Kim shared. “She was really brave and wanted to and has dealt with that and is fine with that.”
Kim’s most recent appearance on “Ellen” hasn’t appeared to ruffle any feathers yet. In late April, Kim told Ellen DeGeneres the whole ordeal with Thompson was “so f–ked up.” She also gave Khloé a heads up on her blunt commentary.
“It is f–ked up. And he’s a complete piece of s–t. Honestly, you can feel however you want, but I’ve got other s–t to deal with right now,” Khloé said to Kim.
